Stephani has 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist in mental health and addictions. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major and honours in psychology. She earned her Masters in social work in Windsor, Ontario in 2011. 

Stephani prides herself on being an evidence-based practitioner. She has training in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including, but not limited to: Cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive processing therapy, and interpersonal psychotherapy. In addition to these, Stephani has been formally trained by the Linehan Institute, and is a certified dialectical behaviour therapist. 

Stephani enjoys working with individuals 13 years of age and older. She enjoys working with a variety of symptoms/diagnoses, such as: borderline personality disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, depression, suicidality, anxiety, trauma, etc. She is very passionate about collaborating with her clients and offering a variety of options for treatment that include the following: blending together skills/approaches from different modalities depending on the need of her client, helping clients to develop insight, educating and empowering clients to acquire a skill set to more effectively manage their symptoms, and helping clients learn it is safe to be vulnerable by engaging them in a therapy that challenges their defense mechanisms.
