Today's organization is a place of changing roles, responsibilities and demands. As our workplaces flex and restructure to fit the 21st century, so must the EAP Resource Agent. Referral/Resource Agents must be concerned not only with employee referrals, but also with maintaining a high visibility for the program. This expanded role includes EAP promotion, Wellness in the workplace, team building and being the focus person to carry health and safety promotion to all levels of employees. It is more important than ever before that Referral Agents are skilled communicators, function as a team and provide a leadership role in creating a healthy organization.

This not only energizes your program, but enables your Resource Agent to bring new ideas to your committees and the Organization. EAP is an important link between health and company productivity. As organizations flex and change, so should EAP - staying at the forefront of employee health and helping to create a motivated, wellness-orientated organization in which to work.
