Mackensie is a Licensed Counselling Therapist Candidate with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick. She graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts focused in Human Rights, and Yorkville University with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.

Prior to becoming a therapist, Mackensie worked with preschool children diagnosed with Autism for several years. As a therapist, Mackensie enjoys working with all age groups including children, teens and adults. She uses a Person-Centered approach and believes in drawing upon various modalities to meet the needs of each individual client. Some modalities may include CBT, trauma informed counselling, narrative therapy and interpersonal psychotherapy.
